Hiking in Eppan means taking advantage of everything on offer: The Montiggler Forest is on your doorstep and offers fantastic hiking destinations not only with the two Montiggler Lakes but also with the Lake Kaltern. The famous ice holes are only a short walk from your apartment, and the Three Castles Trail leads you to the three most historic buildings of the Eppan castle triangle. Bike and motorcycle fans will find ingenious trails and tours around our farm. The host family has many great hiking tips in store. You will also find numerous hiking brochures and mountain bike guides in the lounge.

In Eppan, an active vacation also includes lots of bathing fun in the great outdoors. From our accommodations, you can reach not just one, but three swimming lakes after a wonderful hike or a short drive. You can swim to your heart’s content in the large and small Montiggler Lake. The same naturally applies to the famous Lake Kaltern, where you can also surf, row or paddle boat. If you enjoy fishing, you can go fishing on Lake Kaltern with a day license. Nature lovers can admire the flora and fauna during circular hikes in the protected regions of the lakes.

If you arrive without your own bike, you can easily rent a suitable bike from the municipality’s bike rental service. We are also happy to offer you the service of bringing the bike to you in the morning and picking it up again in the evening. Your apartment in Eppan is also the ideal starting point for great motorcycle tours. Above all, the Mendel Pass beckons, which leads with its narrow serpentines through a breathtakingly beautiful mountain landscape.
